Pocatello police charge suspect in Wednesday stabbing

Pocatello police have charged Jorge Jesus Anaya, 31 as a suspect in a stabbing on Janet St. in Pocatello earlier this week.

According to a news release sent by the Pocatello Police Department, Anaya was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and aggravated battery Thursday afternoon. The case is still under investigation for the second suspect.

Police will release more information as it becomes available.

Pocatello Police are responding to a stabbing incident on Janet Street in Pocatello.

According to an alert sent by the police, one victim with stab wounds was taken to Portneuf Medical Center for treatment. Two suspects at the site of the stabbing have been arrested by police.
