Multiple crashes and slide-offs near Blackfoot

(KIFI/KIDK) On Monday, the Idaho State Police responded to crashes and vehicles sliding off the road near alongside I-15, North of Pocatello.

A semi-truck was among the vehicles that ended up off the road.

The ISP said today they responded to 19 slide-offs and 15 crashes. This number does not even count the number of other crashes that individual counties dealt with today.

If you have to drive in icy conditions, the ISP said to make sure to slow down and increase your following distance between you and the car in front of you.
