Idaho Fish and Game Department officers captured a mountain lion family in the Johnny Creek area near Pocatello. The family included a mother and three kittens.
The family was removed from the Johnny Creek area and released last Friday in a remote area of the southeast Idaho back country. The adult female was radio-collared. She will be monitored to provide valuable information about her and her kittens’ movements and survival.
