Idaho Falls men arrested after baseball bat attack

A disagreement that began on Facebook ended with Codee M. Clapp, 18, and Ryder D. Ritchie,18, being arrested for aggravated battery.
Idaho Falls Police were called to the 2100 block of St. Clair at around 3:25 a.m. Friday for report of a disturbance. According to police, an 18-year-old man claimed he was struck with baseball bats by Clapp and Ritchie. He said Clapp also shot him with a pellet gun. Police said the fight began after Clapp and Ritchie showed up at the victim’s residence. The fight was in response to messages shared between the three on Facebook. The victim was taken to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center by private vehicle for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
