Flooding at Battleson’s Floor to Ceiling
An Idaho Falls business was inundated with water Thursday night and water temperature and rain melt the snow and ice.
The parking lot for Battleson’s Floor to Ceiling flooded late Thursday night after the parking lot drains couldn’t keep up with the amount of incoming water from melting snow. The parking lot flooding was also the second incident of flooding the business had to deal with Thursday. Earlier in the day an inch and a half of water made it inside the business.
Crews used multiple pumps to help clear the water out of the parking lot. The flood waters also threatened a recycling business that shares the parking lot. Crews from the Idaho Falls Fire Department assisted with the cleanup.
