Pocatello girl selected as Top Youth Volunteer of 2017

(KIFI/KIDK) Shelby Kettler is one of 102 students across the country that has been recognized for community service.

Last year, Kettler, along with her school helped collect around 1,000 books to give to a shelter in Pocatello.

Aid for Friends, the shelter that received the books, said they gave the books to homeless kids who came to the shelter.

They said some kids had never owned their own book.
