Detailed Forecast for March 6, 2017

Cold, snowy and windy start to the work-week with unsettled weather to continue for the next several days as westerly flow persists. No major storm just off and on showers at times that could make travel difficult.

Monday, mostly cloudy skies with scattered snow showers and strong winds. Temperatures will be cooler with highs in the 20’s and low 30’s. New snow totals will be minimal, but blowing snow in the higher elevations will be a travel concern.

Tonight, lingering snow showers with breezy conditions as winds stay between 15-30mph. Lows into the 10’s and 20’s. Chance of snow 40%.

Tuesday, mostly cloudy with more snow showers. Temperatures will warm up slightly topping out in the 30’s. Winds won’t be as strong as on Monday, but it will still be breezy.

Wednesday, partly cloudy with a few rain/snow showers and warmer temperatures. Daytime highs are considerably warmer in the upper 30’s and lower 40’s.
