Pocatello Police arrested Levi James Shoemaker,36, on charges of burglary and possession of a controlled substance at around 6:38 p.m. Thursday. Detectives were investigating two separate garage burglaries Thursday when they found Shoemaker at 1500 S. 2nd Street in possession of some of the items that were reported stolen. After his arrest, police said they discovered Shoemaker was in possession of a small plastic baggie containing 1.88 grams of methamphetamine.
