Jackson set to auction Walgreens salvage

A scheduling conflict has forced the town of Jackson to move back an auction of surplus property salvaged from the demolition of the Jackson Walgreens building. The auction is now slated for 9 a.m. July 1 in the western portion of the Jackson Rodeo Grounds parking area. The auction was originally planned June 24. That date conflicted with a previously scheduled event at the Rodeo Grounds. Interested parties may inspect the materials to be auctioned at the site between 4:00 p.m. and 5 p.m. Friday, June 30 and on Saturday, July 1 from 8:00 AM until 9:00 AM. Items to be auctioned include custom bronze outdoor benches, custom bronze outdoor tables, lumber, dry chemical fire extinguishers, a 65–gallon water heater, windows, doors, lighting, smoke detectors, and an electrical roll-up door to name a few items. You can find a complete list of items to be auctioned to the highest bidder above preset minimums here.
