UPDATED: Moreno Brothers Charged with 2nd Degree Murder to Appear in Court Monday

UPDATE 4:00 p.m. Pocatello Police just confirmed there is a video in connection with the incident.

It is currently in evidence.

Police can’t say what the content of the video is, who took the video or what social media platform it was streamed on at this time.

During the arraignment hearing on Monday afternoon, the courtroom was so packed with family and friends of Nathan Tad Richardson, it took even the bailiff by surprise.

Emotions were high, as tearful hugs were shared among family and friends of the victim.

In fact, at one point, one of Richardson’s relatives took the stand, giving a tearful speech asking the judge to not allow bond for the Moreno brothers.

The judge pointed out, these types of speeches are usually not given during an arraignment hearing, and given this was not a trial, he had to stick to the relevance of the bond.

Both Gabriel and his brother Anthony Moreno learned the judge set their bond at $1 million each, and subject to house arrest with electronic monitoring and GPS tracking if they are able to post bond.

They are both set to appear back in court on July 10, 2017 for their preliminary hearing.

The investigation is still ongoing. Police ask anyone with information calls Pocatello Police at 208-234-6121.
