American beats Holy Cross in Patriot League tourney

WORCESTER, Mass. — Stacy Beckton Jr. had 23 points as American defeated Holy Cross 69-63 in the first round of the Patriot League Conference Tourney. Gerrale Gates led the Crusaders on Tuesday night with 18 points, 10 rebounds and five blocks.
