Last-minute basket leads UTEP past Rice
EL PASO, Texas — Keonte Kennedy made a foul shot with 45 seconds left to give UTEP the lead en route to a 70-67 win over Rice. Keonte Kennedy came off the bench to score 16 points to lead the Miners. Carl Pierre led the Owls with 30 points, tying his career high.
