Man charged for pushing construction worker with vehicle

A Pocatello man who tried to cut through a construction site faces criminal charges. According to Pocatello Police, Christopher Lynn Meyers,60, drove into a barricaded off-road construction area at 3rd and Benton at around 10:40 a.m. Tuesday. When one of the construction workers told him to stop, Meyers said he was trying to pull into the Albertson’s parking lot. The worker told Meyers he would have to go around the block. Meyers continued to disregard the construction worker’s direction and the worker stood in front of his car, according to reports. Meyers told the man to move and began to push the worker with his vehicle until he got out of the way. Police were called and officers arrested Meyers on charges of aggravated battery.
