Firefighters douse range fire near Blackfoot
Blackfoot firefighters have contained a brush fire near the intersection of 520 North and 900 West. Some outbuildings were burned, but no homes were damaged and no one was injured. The fire involved 15 to 20 acres of rangeland. Firefighters from Firth and Fort Hall helped contain the fire before it could cause further damage. A fire marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
