BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — John Walker III had 14 points off the bench to lead Texas Southern to a 54-50 win over Jackson State in the quarterfinals of the Southwestern Athletic Conference Tourney. Jayveous McKinnis led Jackson State on Wednesday with 15 points, 13 rebounds and three blocks.
