Woman arrested after Rexburg traffic stop
UPDATE: The Madison County Prosecutor’s Office formally charged Holly Harrison Thursday with three felonies and one misdemeanor. Harrison was arraigned on felony charges of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, methamphetamine or Oxycodone, possession with intent to deliver Alprazolam, grand theft by possession of stolen property, a Jennings .22 caliber pistol, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. She could face up to life imprisonment on the drug charges. ORIGINAL STORY: A 43-year-old woman faces an array of charges after police questioned her at a Rexburg Maverik convenience store. Rexburg Police say they questioned Holly Noel Harrison after a routine traffic stop while she was sitting in her vehicle at the Maverik store on West Main Street at around 3:35 a.m. Thursday. The woman admitted possessing several different drugs and a stolen firearm, according to police. Officers located a variety of prescription and illicit drugs apparently packaged for sale and a firearm reported stolen from Idaho Falls. Harrison was arrested on multiple felony charges including possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and grand theft. She was booked into the Madison County jail. An investigation is continuing.
