No challenges for Rexburg city council
Just three candidates have filed to fill three positions on the Rexburg City Council this year.
Incumbents Christopher J. Mann and Brad Wolfe have filed, along with former Madison Fire Department Division Chief Mikel Walker.
The council seats will go to the top three vote-getters.
Incumbent Councilwoman Donna Benfield did not seek re-election.
People have until October 10 to file the necessary paperwork to be considered a valid write-in candidate during the November election.
