Winter-time inversion is back

Our Winter-time inversion is making a return for this week.

Some low clouds developed overnight, and this stratus deck is expected to dissipate by Wednesday afternoon. With high pressure building over the western U.S., mostly clear skies and cold highs into the upper 20’s and lower 30’s are expected, with no foreseeable precipitation for the next week.

Tonight: Cold with lows into the upper single digits and low teens. Chance of fog/low clouds. A slight chance of a flurry.

Wednesday: Cloudy in the morning with sunny skies in the afternoon, highs into the upper 20’s.

Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 30°.

Friday: Sunny, with highs into the lower 30’s.
