EIRMC names Jeff Sollis new CEO
Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center is naming Jeff Sollis as the new CEO. Sollis is the hospital’s current chief operating officer and will begin his roles as CEO on Jan. 1.
He is taking the head seat at EIRMC, following Doug Crabtree’s retirement. Sollis has almost 10 years of experience in hospital leadership across the nation. He has played an important role in recruiting physicians to support major services at EIRCM.
“Incredibly excited. I love Idaho Falls, love this hospital, love the team that we have here. I’m definitely not Doug Crabtree, I wouldn’t dare compare myself to Doug. He’s been an incredible mentor and friend. I’m going to be stepping into a different set of shoes. I think it is absolutely about caring on our mission. We have an incredible team here, great physicians, great staff and we are all about serving our community and our larger region and we’re all committed to that,” Sollis said.
Before joining EIRMC, Sollis served as chief operating officer at Timpanogos Regional Hospital in Orem, Utah. He was also the assistant COO at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas, and assistant administrator at North Suburban Medical Center in Thornton, Colorado. Sollis earned his masters of health administration from Virginia Commonwealth University, and a B.A. in behavioral science and health from the University of Utah.
