Pomerelle Mountain Resort to partially open December 22
Pomerelle Mountain Resort received enough snow from recent storms to partially open on Friday, December 22.
Starting tomorrow the mountain will open its EZ Rider Triple Chairlift and the Magic Carpet (beginner area) for daily operations from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
“High winds led to the scouring of the top and the unloading areas of the Triple 88 side of the mountain,” said Gretchen Anderson, spokeswoman. “Just as soon as we get more snow and conditions allow, we will open our Triple 88 and night operations.”
The mountain is currently not open for glade (tree) skiing/riding and early season conditions exist.
The Pomerelle lodge will be open, including food service and ski and snowboard rentals, and the Pomerelle snow school will offer its full complement of lessons, with group lessons at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
