King to seek District 34 legislative seat
Republican Elaine King, 64, of Sugar City has announced her candidacy for the Idaho Legislature’s District 34 Seat B in the May 15, 2018 primary election.
Raybould, 84, has not yet announced whether he will seek re-election.
District 34 includes Madison County, including Rexburg and Sugar City, as well as Iona, Ucon, the southern section of Ririe and some rural areas of Bonneville County.
An educator, King describes herself as a Reagan conservative. She was elected as a Ted Cruz delegate in the 2016 Republican National Convention.
