Woman arrested for fourth DUI offense
Bonneville County Deputies were dispatched to the area of John Adams Parkway and Edinburg Circle for a reported drunk driver that hit a fence and parked vehicle before leaving the scene Wednesday at 8:20 p.m.
Deputies were able to quickly locate the vehicle parked in the driveway of a residence on Rulon Dr. and found 36-year-old Colette Shaw in the driver seat.
Officials report Shaw exhibited signs of impairment from alcohol use, and after a series of field sobriety tests, she was taken into custody and transported to the Bonneville County Jail where her breath testing results showed a .24 and .23 BAC (blood alcohol content).
That is approximately three times the legal limit.
Officials report Shaw had three previous DUI convictions, the most recent one a Felony, as well as a suspended driving status.
Shaw was booked into jail for Felony Driving Under the Influence (fourth offense) and Misdemeanor charges of Driving While Suspended and Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Crash.
