UPDATE: Police arrested man who fled from car crash
UPDATE 1/31/18 9:40 a.m.: Idaho Falls Police arrested Miguel Renovato Tuesday after receiving a tip from the public.
Officials thank the community for helping law enforcement find missing people and locate suspects.
UPDATE 1/5/18 7:00 p.m.
The driver of the Dodge Stratus has been identified as 36-year-old Miguel Renovato.
Renovato is described as a Hispanic male with black hair and brown eyes. He is 5′ 5′ tall and weighs around 180 pounds.
Renovato has an active warrant out of Colorado for a parole violation.
Drug paraphernalia was also found in the Dodge Stratus.

ORIGINAL STORY 1/4/18:
One woman was hospitalized after a crash on South Boulevard in the Stonebrook subdivision.
Police were called to a reported disturbance near the intersection of East 21st Street and S. Boulevard at 4:45 p.m. Thursday. They attempted to stop a woman driving a red Mitsubishi Eclipse.
When officers attempted to talk to her the woman drove away. Police did not initiate a pursuit, but did drive in the general direction she took. Officers suspected she was highly intoxicated.
The woman continued driving southbound until she struck another vehicle near the intersection of Stonebrook Lane and Stonebrook Place before swerving head-on into a tree. The woman was ejected from the car and police said she was seriously injured.
The driver of the car she struck, a white Dodge Stratus, fled the scene.
The woman was transported to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center at around 5:17 p.m.
