Portion of 65th South to close for two months

Construction crews will begin work on the Well 18 Water Line project on Tuesday, Feb 20.

There will be road closures and lane restrictions from 111 E. 65th South across to 5th West to the city’s existing well site.

Crews will be installing water lines, valves, fittings, sprinkler system repair and an underground bore to cross the German Canal.

Detours will be set up during different work phases.

Officials ask you watch for equipment and workers, follow all traffic signs and flaggers and reduce speeds to posted limits.

The project is expected to be completed in two months.
