Two sent to hospital after two-vehicle crash

Idaho Falls Fire Department reports a two-vehicle crash happened at the intersection of Sunnyside and Yellowstone around 5:50 p.m. Monday

A silver sedan and a black sedan collided at the intersection when one of the drivers was attempting to turn on to South Yellowstone Hwy.

Officials said one male and one female were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police are investigating the incident to determine who was at fault for the crash.

Officials said they suspect one of the drivers either failed to yield or failed to obey the traffic signal, but there is no conclusive information at this time.
