Crews work to repair Idaho Falls landmark

Idaho Falls Parks and Recreation personnel went to work Wednesday on the “castle” building near the underpass at Yellowstone and D Street.

Crews were working to install new plexiglass windows in the building and fix a hole in the roof.

The city is also attempting to find stone building materials that match the building to make some long-term improvements.

The building houses an old pump station that was used to pump water out of the old D-Street underpass.
