Warm River native named to Idaho Travel Council
Warm River Mayor Lonnie Allen has been named Region 6 representative on the Idaho Travel Council.
Allen is the third-generation owner of Three Rivers Ranch, a fly fishing lodge, retailer, and outfitter and guide service. She is a member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Henry’s Fork Foundation, Teton Regional Land Trust, Idaho Nature Conservancy and the Ashton Chamber of Commerce.
“We are thrilled to welcome the newest member of the Idaho Travel Council,” Idaho Department of Commerce Director Bobbi-Jo Meuleman said. “Lonnie’s desire to share ideas and to support leaders and entrepreneurs who are working to better Idaho’s tourism industry goes hand-in-hand with our mission to market Idaho as a premier destination for travelers seeking a variety of unique experiences.”
The council consists of eight members, appointed by the Governor, with one member appointed from each of the state’s tourism development regions and one member appointed at-large.
Allen replaces Courtney Ferguson of Rexburg, who has served on the council for many years.
