Pocatello students secure spot inNational Science Bowl finals

Alameda Middle School students won their regional competition for the 2018 National Science Bowl this past weekend and will advance to compete in the finals this spring.

Russell Peck, Wyatt Scow, Samuel Morrissey, Jacob Johnson and their coach Deborah Henrie will compete against the winners of 112 other regional tournaments across the country.

The top 16 middle school teams in the National Finals will win $1,000 for their schools’ science departments.

Nationals will be held from April 26 to April 30 in Washington, D.C.
