US 20 reopens after crash near Hitt exit

UPDATE 5: 55 p.m.: Idaho State Police reports the crash has been cleared and all lanes of travel have been re-opened on US 20.

ISP said traffic may still be moving slowly through the area while the congestion clears and asks you use caution.

ORIGINAL:

The Idaho State Police is investigating a crash eastbound US 20 near milepost 313, the Hitt Road exit in Idaho Falls.
The lanes of traffic heading east (north) on US 20 are blocked, and traffic is being diverted off of exit 313.

According to officials, the driver of a black pick up truck attempted to make a lane change. He was going too fast, over corrected and rolled. The driver was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

Two other cars were also involved.

ISP asks you avoid the area if possible.
