Scattered snow showers for St. Patty’s Day
An area of low pressure continues its march onshore towards southern Idaho this weekend. We’re expecting to see scattered snow and rain showers with gusty winds. Winter Storm Warnings and Winter Weather Advisories have been posted for the Idaho central Mountains and Snake Highlands. Central Idaho mountains could see snow levels in the 5-12″ range.
Sunday: A 30% chance of snow showers. A high near 40° for Idaho Falls 45° for Pocatello. South wind 10 to 20 mph.
Monday: A 20% chance of snow, mostly cloudy, with a high near 40°.
Tuesday: Partly sunny, with a highs into the mid to lower 40’s.
