SpringBrew supports downtown development

People in Idaho Falls braved the rain and cold weather for SpringBrew Saturday afternoon.

The event is put on by Idaho Falls Downtown Development Corporation. It features beer from local breweries and food from local restaurants. They also have live music and tents set up to keep people dry. The proceeds from the event go towards the Idaho Falls Downtown Development Corporation, which works to beautify and promote downtown Idaho Falls.

“Because downtown is cool,” said Catherine Smith with Idaho Falls Downtown Development. “We’re getting folks down here to see what is down here. Restaurants, merchants as well as the great green space for Civitan’s Plaza. So, just, downtown’s cool. We’ve got a long going on down here.”

SpringBrew ends around 7pm. It is $15 to get in, but if you’re the designated driver, it will only cost you $5. Kids under 8 are free.
