Bonneville Online School accepting more students for summer

Students all over southeastern Idaho can take part in Bonneville Online High School for the summer.

The online school says it has seen a need or students who want to do summer school. It’s good for students who want to get ahead or students who need to catch up on classes. Some students can even finish up to a trimester.

“You can sign up for one to two classes. If you finish one or two classes by July 11th you can sign up for one to two more. Typically we recommend that students don’t take one to two just because there are only ten weeks in the summer and to be successful. But if a student is very motivated and wanted to earn a lot of credits they can earn up to four credits,” says Kass Cornish, teacher.

Students say it’s convenient.

“I like it because it’s just a cool opportunity. I won’t have to take as many classes during the year and I have more time for sports or hanging out with friends and things like that,” says Brianna Swallow, a 10th grader.
