TV’s Superman to join St. Anthony PD

Television actor Dean Cain will formally join the St. Anthony Police Department Reserve Team in a ceremony next Tuesday, June 19.

Police Chief Terry Harris said the Reserve Team is affiliated with the All About Kids Foundation, focusing on efforts to protect children against cyber predators and child and teen suicide awareness.

In cooperation with actor Erik Estrada and stuntman Daryl Williams, who helped establish the team two years ago, the team has brought many improvements to the St. Anthony Police Department. That work has included a new police K9, drones, new weapons, and various training programs.

The swearing-in ceremony for Cain will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the St. Anthony Police Department with a “meet and greet” to follow at 11:30 a.m.
