Free root beer floats at Blackfoot A&W Restaurant

The Blackfoot A&W Restaurant is celebrating National Root Beer Float Day on Monday, August 6 by giving away free floats and raising money for Disabled American Veterans (DAV).

You can get a free small root Beer float from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. No purchase necessary.

This is A&W’s sixth annual National Root Beer Float Day celebration and the second year it has partnered with DAV.

In 2017, A&W raised $100,000 for DAV in 2017 and provided an estimated $4,000,000 in direct benefits to veterans.

“National Root Beer Float Day keeps growing,” said Jace Katseanes, Owner. “It’s a fun way to say ‘thank you’ to our customers for supporting us, and it allows us to help out a great organization that serves veterans here in our community and elsewhere. Come on in for a Free Root Beer Float and donate to DAV!,” said Lori Cox, Owner.

Since it started to celebrate National Root Beer Float Day, A&W has raised more than $650,000 for veterans groups.
