Celebrating Rexburg restaurants

The city of Rexburg is celebrating its first-ever Restaurant Week.

The city is encouraging the people of Rexburg to try some of the restaurants they have to offer. The week is sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce, City of Rexburg, and the Rexburg Department of Economic Development.

The idea is to showcase the more than 65 restaurants available.

“We have restaurants that sell wine and beer if that’s what you want with your dinner. We have great family restaurants, we have sit down restaurants, fast food restaurants. People always think there’s nowhere to eat, you can eat at a different restaurant every week in Rexburg and never run out of options,” says Christopher Mann, CEO/President of the Rexburg Chamber of Commerce.

Restaurants in the area will be offering specials.

Also, there will be a groundbreaking Friday for a new Wendy’s.
