Snow King scoping period extended

Members of the public will have a little longer to submit comments on proposed improvement plans at Snow King Mountain Resort.

The Jackson Ranger District said it will extend public comment deadlines, or scoping period, on issues and alternatives to be considered as part of the area’s Environmental Impact Statement. Ski area on National Forest lands are encouraged to provide a diverse array of recreational activity, including year-round alternatives.

The comment period has now been extended to September 13, 2018.
