Bucking bulls getting ready for battle

It is almost time for the Ultimate Bull Riding Battle.

There will be 80 bulls from two years to four years. For the main event, the three-year-old derby and classic bulls will be out.

There is a lot at stake for these bulls. The older ones have the chance to compete at the PBR World Finals in Las Vegas.

“The entry fees are from $300 to $600 for the bulls so as far as that goes they’re competing for that money to be won and there will be approximately $16,000 up for grabs for those three and four-year-olds. For the two year old $9,000 up for the bulls to grab. For the riders, it’s approximately $5,000 and a Riffle giveaway and a buckle for the winner of the event. So we’re pretty excited about that for the guys to get out and get on these good caliber of bulls that night,” says Dustin Young, Event Producer.

The event is August 25th at Sandy Downs Arena in Idaho Falls.

At 10:30 that morning there is a free event to watch the two-year-olds. Gates open at 5:30 for the main event and that starts at 7:30. There will also be a clown scramble for the kids and live music.

If you want tickets you can buy them here or at Teton Toyota, Oswald Service, Muddy’s Place or Boot Barn.
