UPDATE: One dead in crash near Rexburg

UPDATE 10/7/18 9:06 P.M.: Idaho State Police investigated a deadly two vehicle crash at 4:20 p.m. heading west on U.S. 20 near milepost 332 in Rexburg.

38 year old Heath B. Babcock of Pocatello was driving a 2014 Ram cargo van.

43 year old Jeramy L. Nutt of Las Vegas was driving a semi truck pulling a trailer.

The westbound lanes are now opened but were closed for three hours and 40 minutes.

ISP was assisted by Rexburg Police, Madison County Sheriff’s Office, the Madison Fire Department and ITD.

ORIGINAL STORY: Idaho State Police and the Rexburg Police Department are responding to a crash on westbound US-20 at milepost 332, near Rexburg.

Westbound traffic is currently blocked and is being diverted at milepost 333.
