Pocatello and Chubbuck discuss future city projects

Pocatello and Chubbuck held a joint city meeting Tuesday to discuss various city projects for the future.

They will consider which formal action will take place for the Northgate project, Pocatello High School renovations as well as the Hawthorne Middle School project.

Among that, they will also discuss Fire/Police Protection Corporation. However, the reoccurring theme was staying prepared for people moving into the area.

Kevin England, Mayor of Chubbuck, is expected a population growth to the area.

“We talk about the growth that’s going to happen, not just in Chubbuck but in this entire region,” said Mayor England. “It is worth talking about, how we plan for the next 10, 15, 20 years out.”
