7 killed in Hungary after train collides with vehicle

BUDAPEST, Hungary (AP) — Hungarian police say seven people have been killed after a train collided with a vehicle on a railroad crossing in southern Hungary. Police said the crash occurred at a dirt road crossing around 6:45 a.m. Monday near the village of Kunfeherto. The driver of the vehicle and all of its six passengers died at the scene. Police said the passengers on the train weren’t injured. But the train’s driver was transported to a hospital with minor injuries.
