Sledder killed in McCall accident
A juvenile was killed in a sledding accident in McCall at around 1:27 p.m. Friday.
Idaho State Police said two juveniles were sledding down a driveway , when one of them went out into the road and into the path of an oncoming vehicle.
Susan McCandless,58, of McCall was southbound on Lake Ridge Drive in a 2018 Land Rover Velar. She attempted to stop, but couldn’t halt the car in time.
The child was taken to St. Luke’s in McCall by ground ambulance. The victim died of injuries sustained in the accident at the hospital.
