Sexual assault investigation leads to arrest

Over the past month, Chubbuck Police have been conducting an investigation into multiple sexual assaults that were reported in early December.

During the course of the investigation, officers identified more than one victim related to that case.

Chubbuck officers along with Homeland Security Investigations arrested 58-year-old Michael Widdisons of Chubbuck on Dec. 12.

Widdison is currently incarcerated at the Bannock County Jail.

Chubbuck Police spent many hours working on this case along with Homeland Security Investigations, and since the investigation is still in progress, very limited information can be released.
