Winds backing off overnight

Winds are expected to lower after sunset Monday evening with clear cold conditions overnight. With the dropping temps and recent snowfall, we could see some patchy fog overnight. Mainly sunny conditions for the Snake River Plain and Western Wyoming for Tuesday. However, Central Idaho will see some cloud cover and isolated snow showers, as our next Pacific system rolls in. This next system blows in snow and rain late Tuesday and Wednesday morning for the rest of region.

Tonight: Partly cloudy and cold. Lows in the teens.

Tuesday: Partly cloudy with highs in the 30’s. Slight chance of snow showers for Central Idaho. Tuesday night, we’ll see scattered snow showers with lows into the lower 20’s.

Wednesday: Snow showers early in the morning, Mostly cloudy for the day, with a high into the mid to upper 30’s. Wednesday night, A slight chance of snow, Mostly cloudy, with a low into the mid 20’s.

Thursday: Partly sunny, with a high near 35. Mostly cloudy near the Wyoming border with snow showers.
