Teton and Basin High join closed school list

The widespread illness that has been spreading through eastern Idaho schools has forced closure of two more schools.

Teton County School District #401 has announced that both Teton High School and Basin High School will be closed on Friday.

Classes in the district’s Tetonia Elementary were canceled earlier this week because of high rates of illness.

The parents of affected students have been notified.

Parent-Teacher conferences for grades K-8 will take place on Friday at Driggs Elementary, Victor Elementary, Rendezvous Upper Elementary and Teton Middle Schools as planned, but those who are sick are encouraged to reschedule their appointments.
