Long time search team member recognized

Idaho Falls-based Snake River Search will honor member Stan Fenn for 50 years of service during a reception at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center at 7 p.m. Monday.

Fenn began his career with the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Jeep Patrol in 1968. He helped for Snake River Search, Inc. in 2011.

He was recognized for 50 years of Search and Rescue Service in the State of Idaho by the Idaho State Search and Rescue service on March 30. His latest project has been a fundraiser for “side scan sonar” equipment to aid in locating drowning victims.

The Monday reception will include presentations from Snake River Search and Bonneville County Sheriff Paul Wilde.

Snake River Search is a non-profit corporation and is entirely funded by donations, grants, fundraisers, and contributions from its members.
