Truck struck by train near Simplot plant in Pocatello
A fertilizer truck was struck by a Union Pacific Railroad train Wednesday morning outside Simplot’s Don plant, west of Pocatello.
The collision tore off a part of the trailer. A cleanup crew was called to help clean up the fertilizer.
Officers from the Power County Sheriff’s office are investigating the accident.
