Thousands turn out to see ISU students graduate
Thousands of people made their way to Holt Arena in Pocatello to watch their loved ones graduate from Idaho State University on Saturday morning.
About 9,000 people were in attendance for the commencement ceremony. According to Idaho State University officials, that is the largest crowd they’ve ever had.
A total of 2,553 graduates walked across the stage to receive over 2,700 degrees and certificates. Of that, 159 students got multiple certificates and degrees.
Idaho State University is encouraging all graduates to post their memories of graduation on social media using #isugrads.
