All students safe after crash involving school bus

UPDATE:
Pocatello Police said a 66-year-old woman was driving a Toyota Corolla on Pole Line Road. According to police, she went through a red light at the intersection with Eldredge and struck the bus.

The woman was taken to Portneuf Medical Center for treatment of injuries. Her identity and the extent of her injuries was not released. She was cited for running the red light.

A driver’s aid on board the bus was treated for minior injuries at the scene. Pollice confirmed no children on the bus were injured.

No students were hurt after a crash involving a Pocatello/Chubbuck School District bus and another vehicle.

School district officials said the accident happened at the intersection of Pole Line and Eldredge. Motorists were being asked to avoid the area.
