VENICE, Italy (AP) — Italian director Luca Guadagnino says that often it’s films that find him, not the other way around. This was the case with “Bones and All” which finds him reunited with his “Call Me By Your Name” star Timothée Chalamet for a different kind of romance: This time, they’d be cannibals. The director, Chalamet and star Taylor Russell spoke to The Associated Press about the film and embracing the love story and avoiding the shock value before its premiere at the Venice Film Festival earlier this year. “Bones and All” opens in U.S. theaters Friday and could be destined to be a new teen classic.
