Subway day of giving set for Wednesday

Subway will provide a free meal, haircut and job opportunity resources to homeless and low-income individuals at the Idaho Falls Rescue Mission on Wednesday.

Local Subway owners and the Idaho Falls Rescue Mission are putting on this annual “Day of Giving.”

Volunteers plan to serve 200 sandwiches to those in need.

The event starts at 6:00 p.m. at the Idaho Falls Rescue Mission at 840 Park Avenue Idaho Falls.

The Idaho Falls Rescue Mission currently serves more than 30,000 meals each year and provided 7,767 nights of safe sleep in 2018.
